To remain at a Plaza community under hospice care, residents must meet the same assessment requirements as non-hospice residents and be appropriate for an assisted living setting. The Plaza team members are unable to provide intermediate care or skilled nursing services. However, in some situations, this care can be coordinated with outside agencies or family support to allow the resident to remain at The Plaza.

All Plaza Assisted Living communities are private pay only and licensed Assisted Living Facilities. Depending on the type of coverage under an individual’s Long Term Care (LTC) Policy, the cost to live at The Plaza may or may not be partially or fully covered. About 30% of Plaza Residents utilize LTC insurance to subsidize or cover their rental and care costs.
