Kathleen Kiehm

Food Service Director

Kathleen Kiehm is the Food Service Director at The Plaza at Pearl City. She is responsible for overseeing the community’s kitchen operations to ensure food safety and quality production. Kat was born and raised in Pearl City and attended Kapiolani Community College for Food Service. She then attended Auburn University and received her Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Service Professional Degrees. She has been working in the Food Service industry for over 40 years. Her experience includes 18 years in restaurants such as Wongs Okazua and Orson’s Restaurant. She also has experience 5 years in acute care and 19 years in long term care. Most recently, Kat oversaw operations for Ito Healthcare Group which includes Pearl City Nursing Home, Oahu Care Facility and Kualana Malama. In her free time, she likes to travel to Vegas and Disneyland with family and friends. Kat is excited to be giving back to her community’s Kupuna.
