Jerry Kele Smith

FOOD SERVICE MANAGER

Jerry Kele Smith is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools; he has been in the Food and Beverage Industry for over 30 years and has worked for the Hotel industry, Private Clubs, and Local Restaurants. Kele started his own small business back in 2010 catering and selling food at the Farmers Markets.

“I really want to make a difference in our resident’s quality of living. I want to bring “cooking with love” to our dietary program and create meals that make our residents feel as if they are home eating with their own families. I’m hoping, they feel the comfort and love that we put into our preparation and cooking when eating each meal of the day.”

When Kele is not at The Plaza at Moanalua, he spends his time with his wife, daughter, and son and also his four Blue Heelers. When he can fit it in, he will grab his board and surf.

Kele Smith is the Food Service Manager at The Plaza at Moanalua. He is responsible for overseeing our community kitchen operations to ensure food safety and quality production.
