DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & SALES

Salaried position at our Corporate Offices in Downtown Honolulu.

The Director of Marketing and Sales is ultimately responsible for the marketing, advertising, branding, and sales for The Plaza Assisted Living. The Director of Marketing and Sales will develop and implement strategy and direction of the company's marketing and branding. The individual will develop strategy, implement action steps, and monitor The Plaza brand. The is individual will develop maintain positive relationships with external professionals and community organizations and individuals capable of influencing referrals to the facility.

The Director of Marketing and Sales is responsible for developing and implementing an annual and monthly Marketing Plan that will successfully position The Plaza as a leader in assisted living services and an annual and monthly Sale plan that will maximize census in The Plaza's communities.

The individual will be effective affective in managing marketing and advertising, building and maintaining a brand, and building census.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a management level Sales and/or Marketing role
  • Preferred previous experience performing marketing and/or sales duties at an assisted living community
  • Preferred degree in marketing or public relations, must minimally have an Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree

Duties:

  • Conduct on-going research/analysis of community needs, competition, and overall community marketing and sales performance.

Registered Dietician - Corporate

The Plaza Team is excited to announce that due to the growth of the organization, we are looking for a Registered Dietician to join our team!

This position will be working out of the Corporate location in downtown Honolulu.

The Registered Dietician will be responsible for working with The Plaza communities in providing diet-related improvement methods for their Residents. They will be required to collaborate and provide nutrition options for the Food Service Department on a frequent basis.

The following are essential functions of the job:

  • Work with the Executive Chef in ensuring that The Plaza's menu options meet all required State of Hawaii, Department of Health nutritional requirements for seniors.
  • Support The Plaza communities with nutritional assessments, evaluations, and counseling based on the Residents' health metrics and habits.

  • Follow up on Residents' progression through meal plans and ensure they are modified in accordance with all quality standards of care.
  • Provide dietary consultations to Residents and Families when their medical conditions are identified as requiring an intervention.
  • Provides educational sessions to Plaza Team Members, Residents, and Families as necessary on diet specific topics (i.e. how to maintain a balanced diet).
  • Works towards providing quality improvements to the food service menu to better improve Residents well-being.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others, Managers/Directors, Team Members, Residents/Families.
  • Comply with all HIPAA requirements to protect the confidentiality of residents' PHI (Protected Health Information).
  • Will be required to possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have moderate computer skills.

Required

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Must have a Registered Dietician Certification in the State of Hawaii.

Physical Requirements

Dietician must be able to travel from Plaza community to community to meet with Plaza Team, Residents & Families.

Job Purpose: The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations within the nursing department, supervision, training and support in nurse delegation duties, and assist in ensuring optimal care and services for the Residents.

  • Ensures medications are ordered and received from pharmacy in a timely manner and handled in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensures appropriate contact with physicians occurs regarding written and verbal orders (this includes properly transcribing physicians' orders with accuracy and assuring follow-up as indicated) in accordance with regulations, standard nursing practice and established community policies and procedures.
  • Functions as a floor nurse, as needed, including the passing of any PRN medication.
  • Makes daily rounds to determine unit effectiveness and identifies needs and concerns.
  • Identifies and communicates trends on the care floor, assists the Director of Nursing and Administrator with a plan of action to follow through.
  • Makes recommendations regarding policies and procedures to maintain the care program in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, while offering the best possible care to residents.

Supervisory

  • Oversees daily nurse delegation program for all floors responsible for.
  • Schedules nursing and resident care staff to ensure appropriate resident/staff ratio.
  • Enforces the attendance policies if needed, and replaces team members as needed.
  • Supervises care staff in the absence of the Director of Nursing and provides feedback concerning their performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Assures documentation of resident records by care staff is complete and accurate by conducting frequent audits.
  • Communicates regularly with care staff to provide information and address concerns.
  • Assists with providing new hire and ongoing training to resident care staff/care department and instructs personnel on use of equipment.

Required

  • Current State of Hawaii Nursing License (LVN, RN), in good standing.
  • Current Tuberculosis Clearance, according to the State of Hawaii Department of Health.
  • CPR and First Aid Certified.
