Director of Nursing

Annette Hayes joined The Plaza at Waikiki team as one of our first charge nurses in 2015. After over a year of direct care service to our residents, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Nursing and shortly after, to Director of Nursing. Annette has been a nurse for over 20 years, and has worked in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, both on the mainland and in Hawaii. She was born and raised in Honolulu, but lived in Tennessee for 23 years before returning back to Hawaii. She enjoys caring for older adults and considers them a part of her family.
