How you behave during a crisis shows your true character. We've been overwhelmed by the aloha we've received from our communities. Here are some of the stories of donations and support that are helping to keep our residents' spirits up and show us all how to be #PlazaStrong.
We`d like to thank Sounds of Success Preschool students of the Na Honu class for creating wonderful "just because" cards to brighten our residents` day at The Plaza at Pearl City.
Here at The Plaza Assisted Living we are fortunate to have talented residents who aren`t afraid to get up and dance hula for their friends. We encourage residents to share these beautiful moments which highlight the many fond memories they have. "Pearly Shells" is a song that resonates with so many of our residents and it`s definitely a favorite tune to dance, sing, or listen to.
Residents at The Plaza at Punchbowl enjoyed a festive Mother`s Day celebration with performances by the Philippine Cultural Center and a delicious meal. Thank you to Likelike Elementary School for the handmade cards and beautiful roses that brightened up our residents` day.
The Plaza at Mililani celebrated Mother`s Day with a delicious Hawaiian food buffet featuring a prime rib carving station! It was so great to see so many loved ones gathered on this special day.
The Plaza at Punchbowl celebrated Nurse`s Week with a nacho bar, and fun fruit platter with ice cream! Thank you to our Nursing and Resident Care Team for all that you do to provide excellent care to our residents.
In addition to celebrating Nurse`s Week, our residents at The Plaza at Pearl City showed their appreciation for teachers by giving goodies to Lehua Elementary School faculty. Each year, Lehua Elementary School students create cards, placemats, and participate in activities with residents; especially during the holidays. Mahalo to teachers everywhere for all that you do to inspire children to give back and do good in their communities.
The Plaza at Pearl City honored our mothers by giving them beautiful roses to celebrate Mother`s Day. 🌹
