Deborah “Debby” Tokuhara

Food Service Director

Debby has been in the Food Service Industry for 35 years with most years spent servicing the Keiki at the Kamehameha Schools where she graduated. In her mission to give back to the schools, being able to educate the students on healthy eating was the biggest reward for her. She is also a Certified Professional Food Service Manager and HACCP Manager. Becoming part of the Plaza ‘Ohana now gives her the opportunity to come full circle by taking care of our Kupuna. Debby’s primary responsibilities are planning, preparing & serving regular as well as modified diets to the residents at Plaza Punchbowl while overseeing the Food & Nutrition personnel. Debby hopes to bring her experience of “local” and “comfort” yet healthy foods to the table.
